Exploring Gender and Sexuality
For some people, sex and gender feel uncomplicated. To be at ease with one’s maleness or femaleness is a rarely appreciated blessing. For some people these matters are very complex. When you are unhappy about your sex, or suspect that you are not truly a member of that sex, life can be very difficult. If the behaviors and interests associated with the sex you are don’t feel right for you, it may be difficult to come to terms with that. Who we are attracted to, sexually, and kinds of sexual behavior we are drawn to, can also present obstacles to living with ease. I have worked with many individuals on these matters, and seen my patients gain comfort with their gender and sexuality.
